What have you done recently to promote cooperation within your team? A team that works collaboratively operates like a well-oiled machine. Try conducting team meetings that promote an environment of information sharing through individual updates. Ask each person to move beyond providing information by also sharing how other members of the team can help or support them. Subsequent updates should recognize and reward instances of cooperation with some token of appreciation deemed appropriate by the team.

Extend the culture of cooperation beyond the team by asking what other teams in the organization may need from your team. Encourage active exploration, through conversations with other teams, about ways to stimulate cooperative working relationships across the organization.
